We watched Tatie get promoted from 5th grade today. She is onto middle school now. Thats right my baby is a MIDDLE SCHOOLER! How did that happen??? I love you my Tatie. We are so proud of you! I only cried once, when the guidence counsler said, “in 2005 your Mom and Dad put you on a bus or loaded you in the family car and took you to your first day of Kindergarten…” Yep, lost it right there. Total water works. I am just in a little bit of denial now. But I don’t have to accept it yet, right? Just like last summer when Kinsey only wanted to be referred to as a post 8th grader instead of a freshman. Tatie can be my post elementary schooler for 2 more months!
Now enough longing for days gone by and onto the cheesy Graduation Song cover and a little peek into the evenings festivities.

MISTY EYED NOW…TIME IS FLYING BY! CONGRATULATIONS, TENACIOUS TATIE! ITS A GREAT CHARACTER TRAIT TO HAVE…I SHOULD KNOW. ON “BAD” DAYS GRANDPA REDUCES IT TO BEING STUBBORN, BUT WE KNOW BETTER, DON’T WE TATE.

I had a tough time at our commencement this year as well. Serious tears, barely held back to keep from a real flood.
