Last week we decided we would try to be more observant of the sabbath by turning off the TV and focusing on each other.  I just can’t tell you how wonderful today truly was.  We started out with Kinsey, Sydney, & Tatie singing a special musical number in church.  Tatie had her very first little solo.  She was so very sweet.  She was nervous like you wouldn’t believe!  And when it came time for her little solo in the song she sang it perfectly and then when it was done cried her little eyes out.  She was just overcome with nerves bless her heart.  Everyone just talked all day about how beautiful they sounded.  And then we came home and had lunch with Jim, Ruthanne, and Todd’s Aunt Shug.  And the girls came running down to tell me they wanted to have a picture day with all the beautiful sunshine outside.  So thats just what we did.  We spent the evening taking pictures and then came home and watched them on slide show.  They were so pretty.  And it just melted my heart.  I am going to put the whole thing to music – funny pics and all – and post it up tomorrow.  I haven’t seen them have so much fun in ages… well thats if you don’t count Wednesday when Todd let them ride around the neighborhood in the back of his pickup truck (a whopping 10 miles and hour :D)

Until then, just know that I think expanding your sabbath day observance is such blessing.   These girls bonded so much tonight.  Here is a little preview…
