Halloween 2010

I love the Holidays!  From Halloween to New Years is all go go go!  I have neglected to post pictures of our Holidays thus far so I am going to make up for it now.  Starting with Halloween.  (Cause we all know thats the official start of the Holiday season.)

We had some issues with our pumpkins this year.  I don’t know if it was the drought or what but our pumpkins were TOUGH!  really tough!   Poor Kinsey drew this fantastic Perry the Platypus on her pumpkin but the rind was so hard to cut through that we had to ditch it for a simpler design.  In the end I had to get a drill out and carve the pumpkin with that!  And even then, K’s pumpkin broke my drill bit!!!

In the end the pumpkins turned out fantastic.  :d  One smiley face courtesy of Tatie, one Letter S with polka dot accents for Sydney (whose pumpkin was the only knife carvable one in the lot), and a big HI from Kinsey.

On Halloween G-Ma, G-Pa, Grammy, & Papa all came over to enjoy a fire, smores, stew and candy with us.  Our neighborhood really comes alive on Halloween!  Its amazing.

We had a Ladybug, a set of Twins, and Miss Universe all at our house for the night!  They were gorgeous!  The other half of the Twin set is Charlie, K’s bestie they used their back packs as treat bags.  The girls were too CUTE!  Sydney went out with her friend Ashley, she was Miss America.  And Tatie went out with her bestie Sammy who was a dazzling Jessie.  Here are all the festivities including a big Ward trunk or treat bonfire!

What a great start to the holidays!
