April is flying by here in a very big very fast way! Here are a few things I have missed telling you along the way.
1. Mr. B. Todd goes to Washington…again. But this time got proper pictures with him in them as I requested. 😀
2. We got to go see opening day at the Louisville BATS! It was awesomeness! Sadly we have said so-long to our suite access. But the new job has Club seats and they even have the company name on them which was cool (at least the girls thought so)! Right down the first base side.
3. As per usual Easter tradition, the girls had a blast driving all sorts of motorized vehicles at Todd’s Aunt Sug’s house (courtesy of favorite cousin Jerry Allen)!

4. Sydney got her big solo in choir!!! So we won’t just be hearing from Kinsey at this year’s concert. Little Sis will be belting out a little tune all her own. That is if Todd doesn’t kill her first for singing it over and over and over and over… well you get the picture. But we are PROUD, even with the terroristic threatening! WOO!!!!!
5. And last but certainly not least in the slightest little bit. I HAD ANOTHER BIRTHDAY! SHOUT HOORAY!!!!
Here is a little fact about my birthday some of you may not know. I LOVE IT. Every part of it. I am not remotely squeamish about my aging another year. In fact I love it. I love birthday cake, cards, presents, and all spoiling unleashed on me at this special time of year. It reminds me of how blessed I am. And I can truly say that I am blessed beyond measure. Todd took me out to dinner not once but twice. The girls wanted to buy me a present so I took them shopping. And when they asked what I wanted I said, whatever you get me I will love. They couldn’t think of anything! LOL So I said, you know what you could get me that I would never get myself but I want? A Cake plate. I have wanted one forever and its just one of those things that feels frivolous and unnecessary, but yet the heart wants what it wants. And so they got me a cake plate and then baked a cake to put on it! (I have pics but my camera isn’t here at the moment to post them, I’ll have to do it later) I loved it, every bit. And then my Mom and Dad sent me a beautiful locket. All in all a pretty outstanding year to be turning 34. It still feels so very young, I hope I am still saying that at 64. Something tells me I will.

Time does go marching on and it’s good to know that my girl not only keeps in tune to the music and tempo but also enjoys the melody… and that is being blessed. Love you dearest, forever and always. MOM
I am a TOTAL sucker for cake plates. We must exchange pix, like proud mums (*grin*). I totally agree with you about birthdays: must be that spoilt little girl inside us all…. And the fact is, 34 is a great age!
You will still be going strong at 64!!! Just look at me at 62 ha ha. Well maybe not quite as strong. Bring the girls to visit. the cabin is almost finished. Tell my sweet Tatie ,I hope she has a wonderful Birthday and I hope she gets that big ball she wants. I just love it that she enjoys each birthday, and doesn’t worry about growing up to quick. She is special!!!
