Every year around Derby, businesses sponsor horse sculptures that are painted by local artists and then placed around the city to decorate for Derby. At the end of Derby season they are auctioned off to the highest bidder. This year Todd’s firm sponsored a horse. Todd named it. Since the law firm has attorneys who support both universities this play on words and sculpture was a “tip of the hat” toward both the schools. The horse turned out fantastic and everyone is hoping it to be a hot seller come auction time. So here it is…

Credit for the concept goes to Ed. He was the idea man on this one. I just named the horse and did the yeoman’s work on getting it ready for its close up. Gallopalooza deserves all the credit for making this happen in this community. And don” forget the artist. That is one talented person. I am just glad I got to be among a great team of people, and serve in a small role, who created a cool landmark for Louisville.
