Welcome to Summer!  We have had a quite calm beginning to our summer vacation this year.  We opted to buy a family pass to the OCAC (commonly known as the public pool)  were we spend most our afternoons there basking in the sunshine…well the girls bask, I more crawl under the nearest umbrella and engulf myself in a book for 3 hours.  Not a bad way to spend the summer if you ask me. 

The girls have gotten so tan, total bronze beauties.   Including Tatie!  Who knew this blond haired blue eyed beauty could pigment!  (I am SOOO jealous!) 

Our annual summer sleep overs have begun with a bang!  First up was Sydney to Grandma and Grandpa’s.  She had an awesome time going to the movies, visiting family in northern KY, yard selling with Grandpa, shopping and playing Phase 10.  Grandpa promised that next year he and Sydney would throw a party so that she could show off her culinary skillzzzz. 

Kinsey partied hardy at Gram and Papa’s house having a pizza party and watching Camp Rock (Jonas Brothers + classic tween Dinsey plot=summer movie magic).  Followed by a day of shopping and eating at her favorite restaurant…The Olive Garden…where Grammy and Papa, though out of their element, enjoyed the yummy food!

Sydney spent the weekend at home with Mom and Dad.  Her Friday was filled with a Camp Rock party at a friends house where they danced the night away to their new favorite movie.  Then it was off to Six Flags on Saturday were she invited her friend Skyla.  And then home to pass out from exhaustion!

This 4th of July weekend promises to be a blast as Kinsey heads off to Grandma and Grandpa’s for an extended weekend!  Tatie is headed to Gram and Papa’s were a weekend of fishing and fun is in store.  While Sydney hangs back at home and we take yet another romp to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. 

In other family news this summer we want to give a BIG Bright girl welcome to Nora!  The newest addition to the Walker family!  Congratulations Emily on your new baby sister!  We love you guys!  We sure miss you!
