In school this last month the 6th grade had a unit they refer to as “The Cars Unit”.  Every class they have in school for the last month revolves around the building of wooden push cars that are raced at the end of school.  The kids learn everything from the proper handling of tools to the improtance of measure twice – cut once and the all improtant laws of physics.  Here is a small snippet of Kinsey’s adventures with her cars unit.  Note the name of her team’s car…”The Baconador” complete with pigs and bacon!
