Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!  We hope you enjoyed your holiday with family and friends.  We spent yesterday afternoon hunting eggs in the woods with Grandma and Grandpa.   We narrowly avoided the mud and only lost one egg!  (a sly yellow one, I am sure Grandpa hid…who puts eggs in holes!) Then the Easter Bunny came for a visit this morning leaving the usual jelly bean trails all through the house leading to the girls baskets.  Then we got ready for church with Grammy (it was CRAZY cold outside), and then followed that up by having a lovely lunch prepared by Sydney.  Sydney is becoming quite the chef…wait, don’t they say that kids who learn how to cook young do so out of necessity?  Does that mean I am a bad cook?  Well, its possible :D!

The girls are now crashing form their sugar high (…eating Uncle Adam and Aunt Heathers chocolate bunnies), and watching Enchanted (I highly recommend this movie, its wonderful!).  I managed to find 2 out of the 3 dresses with sleeves this year, which was a miracle!  I will never understand Easter dresses that are sleeveless, we don’t live in the tropics, its cold during Easter!  Tatie’s was adorable with that little lace jacket, so I could cope with it not having sleeves.  And as you can see the girls looked beautiful today.

Happy Easter!

  1. Hi Guys! I am glad to hear you had a great Easter! I can’t believe how grown up you are all becoming…and so quickly! We had a great Easter here and it was actually somewhat warm and sunny.

  2. Well, Easter is a holey holiday, isn’t it? So it’s only fair for Grandpa to put eggs in holes!
LOL… The girls look lovely in their Easter outfits. Love, Grandma
