Dear Darlings,

I was hoping to have a slide show of pictures for you to look at, but we can’t get the file transfer to work yet.  We will try again tomorrow.  I cried on the way to airport.  I was so sad to leave.

 We got on the plane bright and early this morning and took off in the dark!  There was fog everywhere, so it was hard to see the ground from our window.  We ran into turbulance nearing Minniapolis.  Which means that the airplane was SHAKING like crazy.  By the time we landed Daddy and I had quite a tommy ache.  When we landed the plane made a BIG bump.  We had just enough time in the Minniapolis airport to get a cup of hot chocolate and board the plane for Salt lake City. 

This plane ride was much smoother then the first.  But we still had alittle shaking now and then.  Daddy spent his time writing an article and I watch some TV shows on my iPod.  But as we neared Salt Lake the landscape changed to mountain desert.  It was beautiful.  I had to stop watching TV and just watch the landcape go by.  There was even red dirt!  It looked like chritmas dirt!   And crazy windy rivers.  And we even flew right over the Great Salt Lake.  We flew over snowy moutains and landed very smoothly in the Salt Lake airport.

 We got our luggage and rode to the hotel in an SUV.  The ride took about an hour.  When we arrived, we checked in.  Sundance Resort, is not your normal hotel.  Its like cabins in the woods.  Everything here is all fall.  All the trees are orange red and yellow.  Its very beautiful.  Our room has a BIG fluffy bed, fire place, TV, private deck and kitchenette.  I was very impressed.  Though, there is no room service.  And since we don’t have a car we have to walk 5 mins to get to the deli for food.  I think I will go find a store and do alittle food shopping so I don’t have to walk so much. 

We hadn’t eaten yet, so we stopped by the deli for some soup and sandwiches.  Then it was off to our moutain adventure.  We got to ride a ski lift to the top of a mountain!  I was beautiful.  We took lots of pictures.  Daddy got alittle scared of the height.  But even he had to admit it was cool.

Now we are waiting to go to dinner.  Daddy is taking a quick nap while I fill you in on our day thus far.  After dinner we are going to see an old movie.  Then it will be off to bed with us.  We are exhausted.

Be sure to check the mail box over the next few days.  There might be a note coming in the mail for some very special little girls!  I miss you terribly., but grammy tells me you are being so wonderful.
