Kinsey’s report card was marked from top to bottom this 6-weeks with O’s! For those of you unaware of the strange grading system KY now uses…O’s stand for outstanding. Or in normal english she got all A’s.
She sat across from her father waiting patiently as he reviewed her report card…wandering what he would say. He looked up at her with a stern eye and said, “Kinsey, I see that you have made no improvement since the last six weeks.” At which point Kinsey…without missing a beat said, “I know! Isn’t it awful! Straight O’s for both!” At which point they both cracked up and lots of hugs insued.
So Congratulations to Kinsey on her perfect report card!

When will Jefferson County Public Schools get around to making report cards easier to understand. I am looking forward next year when all grades will be in alphabetical order.
