We are so excited to be going to Marquette, MI this weekend for my cousin Brian’s wedding! Okay, so I am excited about the wedding. Not so much the travel distance. My Aunt has rented a charter bus and is driving us all the 14 hour bus trip up there. O_O But we are excited none the less. Though I have to say we were all hoping Bri would have tied the knot in Annapolis instead. Annapolis is so beautiful this time of year! But what can you do.
So I was checking up on the weather in Marquette, which is at the tippy top of of your middle finger if you were wondering. And on my little weather bug app I downloaded the weeks forecast. For us here in KY is will be 90’s all week. Fry an egg humid 90’s. Yuck. So I was rather looking forward to seeing what lake front Marquette had to offer for our wedding weekend. And I laughed so hard when I read it, I had to take a screen cap to show you!
I love the repeat of “very warm” for both the 59 degree evening temp and the 74 degree Thursday temp! LOL If thats “very warm” I wonder what they would call our temps here?

Isn’t this where Tommy Boy was from or went to school or something? If yes, then THAT would be the only reason I was really looking forward to going…aside from the wedding.
I had to look it up! He actually went to Marquette University which is in Wisconsin. And Tommy Boy is set in Ohio. But its easily confused. Marquette is a sleepy little fishing town between Lake Superior and Lake Michigan.
