Todd was asked to throw out the opening pitch for the Louisville Bats (the farm team for the Cincinnati Reds) last Saturday! It was awesome! And to top it off, while we were out there the girls were asked to give the official “Play Ball” to open the game!
It was such an amazing day. Todd spent a little bit during the week practicing for the big moment. And he was thrilled that he did so well. And so were we! WOO!

We have been spending a whole lot of time at the ball park this summer. Its been a blast! Here are Todd and I enjoying a game a few weeks ago.

A farm team is a minor leage baseball team. The Bats are the AAA affliate for the Reds. I believe the Lexington Legends are the AA team for the Houston Astros.
What fun. A much better pitch than the president’s that did not make it to the plate. With three beautiful young ladies callin gout PLAY Ball I hope they won.

Okay, that is just plain exciting fun! A little boy’s dream come true (and probably an old man’s) next to playing full time ball. Congratulations on making it to the plate, my effort would be well short of the distance to the homeplate, I’m sure…it’s longer than it looks. Nicely done!
