I would like to take a moment to welcome our newest addition to the Bright clan. His name is Fred and he is the most punctual child on the planet!
One morning after bellowing non stop “… its time to go…I am leaving now…we are going to be late…” I got tired of it! And so Fred was born. Fred is never late! He always knows what he wants to wear and doesn’t change his outfit 10 times. He always remembers to brush his teeth. And most importantly he comes when I say its time to go!
I called to the girls…
“I am now going to take all of my ON TIME children to school. Come on Fred lets go.”
*deep husky voice* “Okay Mom. I just Love being on time.”
“You are so wonderful Fred. Lets go”
I then walked out of the house and Fred took the front seat and I started the car. Sydney came bounding out of the house first but I told her, “I am sorry Sydney, you were late. Fred gets to sit in the front seat today.”
That cracked her up. I would like to say that the girls have perfectly improved their morning routine. But alas Fred is not a miracle worker, they are girls after all. And girls with my gene pool no less – that’s like a double whammy. But Fred is definately getting his point across!

I think I like Fred and I know Grandpa would love him! What’s he look like? Is he a clothes horse too? Hope he isn’t as picky an eater as his siblings….
Does he have shoes on his feet and his hair brushed? Does he go potty before he leaves the house? I think we might need to add a Fred but sitting in the front seat won’t be motive enough here as my girls aren’t old enough…hmmm, maybe he can get treats in the car or bug juice? I bet that might have an influence on them.
