We had a huge thunderstorm roll through town yesterday around sunset. We had the most amazing full bow rainbow with the added cool effect of spider lightning crawling through it! Tried as I might to get a picture of this fantastic phenomenon. I could not…for I am not God and can there for not anticipate when lightning will strike. But lucky for me someone else in town had this great ability and captured a small snippet of the beauty.

Isn’t it odd the way the whole sky is lighter inside the arc of a rainbow? I was noticing this the other day here, when we too had an incredible rainbow, the brightest I’ve ever seen — though without the lightning!
