That is indeed what I am now! On Saturday I became divisible by 11. 😀 Happy Birthday me! On Friday night Todd and I rented some movies and got some Chinese food for a cheap at home date to celebrate my day. (We rented Yes, Man – which was funny. And Eagle Eye – which was a just eh.) He had asked me what I wanted for my birthday and my reply was “a house”. So since we are in the process of making that happen there was nothing left to do but relax and enjoy a nice weekend. Mom and my bestie have sent me on a shopping spree, and Ruthanne bought be a ginormous cake that took up the entire bottom shelf of my fridge. It was a lovely day. (Banner is a gift from Christina…she rocks.)

We spent Saturday night at Thunder over Louisville. We didn’t even drive down to Todd’s office until 7:30 that night and were back home by 10:30pm. Not bad at all, considering most people had to endure the 2 hour traffic jam that followed Thunder. It was another great show. This is the view from Todd’s office building window were we watched the show.

My bestie asked me the other day if I could have anything for my birthday what would I want. She happened to ask me on a day when my washing machine started making noises a washing machine shouldn’t make. So I answered her with swoony thoughts of … (brace yourselves ladies, for this is a thing of beauty.)

Ooooooer….The Electrolux washer and dryer set with its super capacity, eco friendly cycles, and 18 minute dry time are a thing of magic! I want to be Kelly Rippa and have a Bewitched lifestyle with my Electrolux washer and dryer! In the poignant words of of Liz from 30 Rock, “I want to go to there.”
Christina said that was lame, but what can a girl do when she has been bewitched by excellent marketing. 😀
Oh, the price tag of this dynamic duo? $3,800.00 O_o

Sooo, what kind of books did you get that I can borrow? Forget help on the $3800.00…but suggest you start saving $30 dollars a week that’s $1560 a year and in three years or less if their price comes down! you will be ready for “THE DREAM MACHINE”. Sounds like a wonderful weekend! You are loved by all. See teaching you all those years ago about the number 11 has come in handy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Happy Birthday!
For the record – I asked what your dream gift would be and no woman should ever have a washing machine as a dream gift!!! 😀
Think more along the lines of a week long vacation on a tropical island with plenty of fun/safe stuff for the kids to do and a great ROMANTIC/RELAXING!!!! place for you and Todd to watch the sunset over the ocean.
