It was spring break week here on wonderful Oldham County. Todd took the week off to hang out with us. We started off the week with a trip to the Lincoln Cabins in Santa Claus, Indiana. G-Ma & Grandpa and Grammy & Papa joined us there for a fun filled weekend. Kinsey and Sydney took turns sleeping over at the Grandparents cabins and we all took turns cooking the meals. We played a rousing game of Catchphrase… Todd answered everyone’s clues regardless of who’s team he was on! We even had an awesome Easter Egg Hunt in the playground (116 eggs and we “think” they were all found. I say “think” because it turns out there were actually more than 116…G-Ma…) By Monday morning when the Grandparents all left we were STUFFED and had twice as much food in our fridge as what we brought with us! That is when I began to worry about how were were going to get it all back home!
We spent Monday outside building up the fire we couldn’t have on Sunday because the weather had been so cold. We spent all evening out there and even got a visit from a few raccoons on the hunt for food (the girls didn’t like that so much). On Tuesday just before heading home we went over to the Lincoln memorial farm. Tatie has been learning all about Lincoln in school so she made a few videos for her class. Here is our trip:
On Thursday we started house hunting. There are lots of houses to chose from and we have an amazing realtor for once, she is all about getting a deal! So hopefully we will be in a house before summer! YEAH! We spent the last two days soaking up conference. It was wonderful as usual. Especially Mo-Tab’s “Come to Zion” in the Saturday morning session. It was fantastic!
Now its back to school for tomorrow. And two months till school is out. Its too long if you ask me.
I hope you had an amazing Spring Break too!
