I was reading a friends blog and she had put together a list of memories without adding any names to them and then challenged her readers to figure out which memory was theirs. It was kind of cute so I decided to give it a go! Make a comment and tell me which memory you think belongs to you.
1. You walked down the isle for me during my wedding rehearsal. You were so sweet even though the boys harassed you terribly!
2. My kids always do the craziest things at your house. And Todd keeps it all a secret till after its over! Like learn to drive all terrain vehicles!
3. I miss our walks around the resvoiur.
4. Playing hide and go seek with you and the family outside at midnight is the ONLY way to play.
5. I made you a baby blanket in animal print because you were the “anti-pink” Mom-to-be.
6. I used to sit up at night worrying about you during your first pregnancy. (The bruised stomach and ribs. *shudders*) And now after reading Breaking Dawn I am wondering whether or not you were carrying a Hybrid baby in there after all! Does your hubby sparkle in the sunlight?
7. I swear I feel smarter just by reading one of your emails.
8. One day at choir I kept smelling bacon and finally had to stop rehearsal and ask, “Does anyone else smell bacon?” and turned out the bacon smell was YOU! I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard.
9. You had an unexplained obsession with my Care Bears.
10. Did you ever get around to reading the Screw Tape Letters? Because now I worry that after those questions I made for Book Club, I may have tainted your opinion of it. Though the questions still crack me up when I think about them.
11. You taught me how to hula and then I became obsessed with mastering Poi balls! (Which I can totally still do.)
12. It blows my mind to think that as long I as I have known you we have only managed to get together twice! And the first time I don’t count cause you were such a sleepy head.
13. We tried to teach someone the gospel over the Internet. We were like the first ever cyber missionaries! LOL Not that it actually turned out well, but its the effort that counts right?
14. You gave me a poem about having a messy house that is still hanging on the wall in my dining room. I read it often and think of you.
15. I took you on dates with me in High School when you were a baby.
16. You two took me to my first ever concert. Back when Whitney was not as wacko.
17. You’re husband taught me how to text message on my phone in the middle of a family emergency!
18. We threw tea into Boston harbor while you were sporting a festive red feather.
19. You are the only person is this whole family who can really cook. You once asked if I liked to cook and Todd just laughed.
20. When you got home off your mission you asked Todd and I how things were going at the Singles branch. I was 7 months pregnant when you asked!
21. You gave me the greatest gift I have ever gotten. Kurt Nilsen CD’s!!!!

I’m thinking I’m the only option for #21, unless you’ve got a secret Kurt Nilsen music-dealer I don’t know about! LOL 😀
This is hysterical. I love it! (Though I think I’ll spare my blushes and not post my own guess…).
This is hysterical. I love it! (Though I think I’m going to spare my blushes, and skip the guessing part…). *grin*
Is 8 me? I vaguely remember being a little embarrassed admiting I smelled like the food I had been cooking.
todd nicole you need to see me about that number 12 your eternity depends on it!!!
#16 Belongs to dad and I…I couldn’t hear for hours after the concert. It cost the earth to go and we had lousy seats. She looked like a postage stamp, but…it was a great memory. BLESSED ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE FUTURE. TEACH THEM WELL THEN LET THEM LEAD THE WAY. TELL THEM ALL THE BEAUTY THEY POSSESS INSIDE! GIVE THEM A SENSE OF PRIDE.
AMEN.
