Foul Ball

Todd was able to arrange a wonderful suprise for our first day of spring break.  He was able to secure the Luxury box for the night at the Louisville River bats game.  It was a blast!  We were able to invite the White family and a few freinds from the office to join us in the festivities.

The highlights of the evening were as follows…

We had a visit from the Fazoli’s Tomato that Carson White refered to as the big Potato.  You can check out the photo album to see the pictures we took with the “Potato”.

Tatie and Carson spent the majority of the evening wrapped tightly in their mother’s coats viewing the game from the luxary box balcony.  This was quite a sight considering it was 30 degrees outside, and the wind was wipping through the stadium.  After a while Carson’s Dad Shane went out to sit with the girls on the balcony.  Within the next few minutes Shane’s hand flashed out instinctively from his coat pocket to catch a foul ball just inches from Tatie’s face.  Our Hero!  He later told his that he never even saw the ball coming until it was right infront of Tatie.  He said that instinct just took over.  And we were gratful it did!

Finally we had the oppurtunity to see the famous Quick Change artists after the game!  It was even cooler in person then it was on TV.  We had a birds eye view of the show and we are all baffled!  How do they do that?

What a great kick off to spring break!  It was a wonderful evening filled with hotdogs, good friends, and baseball!  As an added bonus the River Bats won!  Go Bats!
