I just wanted to drop a quick note in this whirl wind summer to say that Sydney SWAM this morning!!!  I am so proud of her!  She has just never been able to catch on to the whole swimming thing.  She took lessons in the 2nd grade and still could not swim.  Like AT ALL… no doggie paddle, no treading water, no floating, nothing.   And after this summer of ocean and pool it became glaringly apparent that she was developing a fear because of the lack in skill.  So I signed her up for private lessons.  She had her first lesson this moning and totally swam half the length of the pool!  All by herself!

You should have seen her face.  She was absolutely beaming!   Sydney was so excited when she finished that she was practically jumping up and down!

So that’s all, I just wanted to say how proud of my swimmer girl I am.
