I bought a new camera just before we left for DC last week. The day I bought it Kinsey came running (and I do mean RUNNING – like her whole world depended on what she was about to do) down stairs and said to me…
“Mom! Does the camera do that ‘focus on the thing in the middle and fade to black on everything outside’ thing?”
I said, “Yes, I believe so.”
She then said, “Good! Take a picture of my feet.” Then through herself on the ground and plopped her feet in my lap.
Behold. Kinsey’s feet. hahahaha (Avert your eyes Abby!)
She is truly entertaining some days. She also had to build a bridge for Geometry class out of tooth picks this week. It was a painful 7 hour project but its done! now we wait till monday when her math teacher will test its strength with weights until its destroyed… somehow I am not seeing the joy in the destruction part after 7 hours of glueing.

Oh geez. Yeah I’m not really looking forward to that part of high school. Shadow boxes I can do. Enduring Architecture out of toothpicks not so much.

Making the a toe video would be great. The whole family could be the voices and Kinsey stars as the puppetier.
