No thats not some new dance craze! Its what we did today. 😀
What a busy day it was too! Todd and I started our day at a Uof L game in the new arena. It was a whole lot of fun. We were 5th row court side! And I have to tell you that if any of you go to the new arena for any reason…bring ear plugs! I am not kidding. The acoustics in that place are INSANE! Todd says they specifically built it that way, it is so LOUD in there! I have never been anywhere so loud! Anyway we had fun. Here is Todd in the new arena.

Then Kinsey was off to a big 6 Stake church dance in Indiana. She went shopping earlier today and bought a new dress. Here are the girls before they set off for the evening (with Todd chaperoning. teehee!).
They are on their way home now. Poor Todd, he said he just needs some quiet! Its been too loud for him today. Such an old man. LOL
While K and Todd were off dancing the night away Tatie, Sydney, and I went to the bi-Stake Creche event. Thats code name for nativity event. They displayed hundreds of Nativity scenes of all shapes and sizes along with a living nativity and live music over a two day event at our Stake center. Seeing all those nativities was so cool! I think my favorites were the ones from the International room. I liked the one from the Ukraine the best. Sydney and Tatie were fond of the one from Africa. And the crystal nativity room was beautiful too. There was even a Charlie Brown nativity. 😀 They had a manger set up with dress up clothes so you could take your picture. I took Sydney and Tatie playing Mary. It was a sweet moment, even if baby Jesus was born in a cabbage patch.

Such a great day! Poor Todd’s ears…. RockE would have made a wonderful baby Jesus for a little while anyway…. The girls look cute.
Did you take any pictures of the different manger scenes from the different countries? That would have been interesting with art + culture + religious belief… Love you guys 😀
O….forgot…..Kinsey’s new dress was chic.
oh neat! maybe we can go see that while we’re up there on Friday!
Love the Cabbage Patch Doll for Baby Jesus. 😀
Awwww….K looks so pretty. I bet Todd was extreamly proud of his little girl.
A little late to the party here — the whole month of December (and, hem, January) went by in a blur this year! What totally adorable pictures. About “creche”….that’s so interesting that they use the term, because it’s what they say here too. Mind you, they also use the word to mean “nursery” or “day care” (as in: “the bank has a creche for employees on-site”), which sounds really weird to my ears!
Wishing you a very belated Happy Christmas and a great New Year, my dear!
